WRAP-UP AND DEPARTURE
I'd be fibbing if I said it was easy to leave from Vermont.
But, unfortunately, Sunday was wearing on, and all of us has long drives (Dave - New Jersey; Bernie & #500 - Connecticut; Your Webmaster - Massachusetts). Dave had a smart idea, though. Originally Peg was going to join us, and they were going to take a hotel room in Stowe. Unfortunately Peg's schedule didn't allow for some time away, but Dave decided to spend the night in Stowe anyway, catch the Red Sox game at the pub, and enjoy a little of what Vermont has to offer.
Bernie got #500 back into the Protect-O-Muff, and we loaded it into his vehicle, and it was off to home.
Wow, just as when #310 left, and Larry Fast's machine before that, and how many before that...the Mellotron Ranch kinda looks empty. THANK YOU to Jerry and Mali Korb for your excellent hospitality and for yet another wonderful stay in the north. 'til next time, Mellotron fans...
