MONEYPIT - VERMONT
Back to the Mellotron Ranch for another excellent if chilly weekend in the woods of Vermont. Charles Hemlock drove out from Michigan to pick up not one but two Mellotron M400s, #203 ("The Ugly") and #1414 ("The Good"). It's a tradition for the people visiting the Mellotron Ranch to bring some food that their area is known for. This time, though, the tables were turned. Jerry picked up a box of "Michigan Hot Dogs" for Charlie to sample, but these "Michigan Hot Dogs" aren't from Michigan at all! They're from the Port Henry/Ticonderoga area of New York State.
Sooooooo...What makes "The Good" 'tron good and "The Ugly" 'tron ugly?
Let's start
with #1414 -->
The Mellotron name is owned by these guys. These guys have produced a new cycling Mellotron. Don't use this site as a guide for fixing up your own gear. If you don't know what you're doing, you shouldn't own a Mellotron, especially one of the big ones with all those gears and stuff. But if you insist, have contact information handy to your local Mellotron repairman. CREDITS: Photos by Ken Leonard and Jerry "Mellotron Professor" Korb.
