MONEYPIT celebrated the Fourth of July in excellent style in 2004. Off to the hospitality of Jerry and Mali Korb's residence in Vermont again for things Mellotronic and social. This time we got to spend time with Streetly's East Coast Agent Jimmy Moore, his wife Nancy, and his daughter Anna. And Mellotron Demonstrator Pierre Veilleux also put in a surprise visit, taking the train down from Montreal. For guests Mellotronic we had Jimmy Moore's FX Console, over to Korbmatics for restoration, as well as Larry Fast's M400 which Jerry unbodged before our visit.
The weather couldn't have been better! No snow in this forecast. It would be a weekend of things Mellotronic, touristic, stoutacious, BBQic, and fireworkish. And--yep--Jerry's fab steak tips! (Mali also taught me how to BBQ corn. :-) ) The Mellotrons waited patiently in the basement for us to get ready to have a look at 'em. Let's start with a the Synertron-->
